“Alice walks ceaselessly towards a faraway castle. She stumbles along the way as she makes trustworthy friends as well as encounters some troublemakers. When she finally arrives the castle, she opens the portcullis. In that exact moment she realizes the villain who occupies the castle is actually her…”
That’s the fairy tale in her mind while her eyes go through everything from left to right, from the bottom to the top in the hostess’s doll collection in the glass case.
Doll collection is a hobbit of the hostess. It appears that loads of the dolls in that glass case is less than half of her whole collection. The interior design goes along with the dolls. There’s no single style. There’s no sole color palette. It’s a colorful theme with character. The world of a fairy tale consists of infinite colors: Morandi kitchen, pinky tiles, dark purple cabinet, bright blue study, and cherry bedrooms. Every corner in this house has a piece of the hostess’s colorful collection that tells you a little bit of the hostess’s playful personality. Not a normal color palette for a residence, but an interesting one, no question. It’s a house fully represents the characteristic of the hostess.
“Alice in A Glass Case” is merely an imagined fairy tale inspired by the hostess’s doll collection. The dolls may change and different guests will certainly have their own version of all kinds of fairy tales.
